Growing lettuce in pots or containers:

If you have harvested entire lettuce leaves in single or multiple harvest, you can reuse the same soil by just adding some fertilizer to it and plant new seeds of lettuce in them again.

Most important thing if you want to grow lettuce throughout summer for your salad needs, keep them in a good shady place in your garden or hide them behind other bigger plants. This will make sure it grows well.
