Container Gardening as a therapy!
In these days where stress is prevalent everywhere, people are facing so many issues like alcohol abuse or drug abuse or tobacco abuse, it is very important for one to engage in activities that are constructive and can help relieve stress and give joy to yourself and others at the same time. Drugs abuse can be life threatening and can take away many things away from your precious life if not controlled in time. Hence it is better to say "No" to drugs(brown sugar, cannabis, cocaine,Heroin, Marijuana) the first time whether you are school going, college going, higher education, working, without job, frustrated, please say "NO" to drugs the first time itself so that you don't have to look for therapy like this one mentioned in this blog.
Container gardening is one such good physical and mental activity that can engage body and the mind in a constructive way. Container gardening can give immense happiness and relaxation after long and stressful day even though it may be simple things like watering plants, picking your harvest, spraying plants with natural insecticide like neem spray.
While container gardening is good for all ages, it can particularly be a good thing for young kids as it can help them develop wide range of interests at a young age when their minds can get easily distracted into other things, specially for school going kids. It can help them develop good character and if they take this further in the community, it can develop curiosity in young minds which will help them sharpen their mind.
While gardening is a good therapy overall, in this blog particularly we are focusing on container gardening as it can be implemented at a very small scale, it could be small gardening area, small apartment terrace, balcony with only a few pots.
Container gardening can also be a therapy for transforming anger, one forgets oneself when he/she is with nature. It does not matter whether your garden space is small or big, it will be a good idea to spend some time with your container garden and plants.
